​Detroit Mission Experience

​​We invite you to come and get to know your neighbors in Detroit while engaging in economic recovery work that includes home improvement measures and blight reduction activities.

We make your planning easy and your experience meaningful by providing lodging during your stay, kitchen facilities for meal prep, and coordinating service project(s) - providing all needed materials & supplies. Debriefing sessions each evening help participants explore and reflect upon the connections between faith, service, and their everyday lives.

Opportunities for service year-round that can be 1 day, 1 week, or longer for youth and adults. For youth groups, one adult leader per five youth is recommended.

​Weekly Registration Rate

The total cost of the week is $299/person. The balance is due 3 weeks prior to the group's arrival.
